The problem
Students and faculty needed quick answers to common questions without waiting for staff.

What we built
We built a conversational assistant for a university website. It runs on the Microsoft Phi-2 (2.7B) language model and answers questions from students and faculty in real time.
The backend is Python. It handles tokenization, intent recognition and response generation. The frontend is React.
